"Generally speaking, I am quite satisfied with myself: with who I am and how I look. My best inner quality is that I love people. I am a caring person and like to help. It gives me energy.

I consciously take care of myself by eating healthy, but equally by enjoying something sweet every now and then. I also exercise a lot and sometimes do yoga or pilates. Reading helps me relax, as does spending time in nature.

It was my first photo shoot. I found it exciting but also a little weird to pose. But the photographer was very kind and immediately put me at ease. It was also nice to see my former colleague Miek again. It was a warm and fun experience."

Getting used to being in front of the camera

"I started off in the shop and later moved up to become a Leisure Assistant with the City of Antwerp. After work, I like to paint. I also exercise and play a lot with my grandchildren.

Binnenste Buiten really makes a difference to people. I like how we help people, both inside and out. My colleagues worked with such enthusiasm. We all did it wholeheartedly.

Building something together from scratch into something beautiful, I'll never forget that."
