"I am a proud grandmother. In my free time, I prefer to be with my son and his family. I also meet up regularly with people from the Mongolian community in Belgium.  

Since 2021, I have been struggling with my health. So I rest as often as I can. When the weather is nice, I like to go for a walk. It keeps me active, which is also important.

I am honest, calm and friendly. Those are my best traits. I like my smile best about the way I look. I used to have very nice teeth, but because of my medication, they are a little discoloured.

The photo shoot was very special to me. It was the first time in my life I did something like that."

Warm family moments

"I started in 2014 in the sewing studio of Binnenste Buiten, where I worked for 1.5 years. It was my first job in Belgium. There were only two of us in the studio at the time. We mainly took care of alterations for customers of the social clothing store. Children's clothing and upcycled products were only added later.

What I remember most of all is the lovely atmosphere. My colleagues were so kind! I also learned an awful lot there. So much so that I quickly found work after that. Immediately after leaving Binnenste Buiten, I was able to start work at SN3, a luxury boutique in Antwerp.

When that store closed, I started working at a funeral home in Temse, where I sewed the inner lining of the coffins. Today I have been working as a seamstress at Group-f for several years."
