These five priorities fit in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). 6 of them form the guidelines for the City of Antwerp.
Sustainable Development Goals 3 – health, 8 – economic growth, 9 – industry, innovation & infrastructure, 11 – sustainable cities and 13 – climate action, have a common basis in Antwerp: innovation is a driver to bring solutions.
Finally SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals – is the basis of this innovation drive: City, Port, University and the local Chamber of Commerce are working closely together within the same vision and strategy.
