"In my free time, I sing in a choir, meet up with friends and enjoy watching series on Netflix. This is how I take care of myself and unwind. I take time to relax, for instance with a massage from time to time, and I enjoy little things, like choosing nice clothes.

What I like about myself? The dimples in my cheeks. And in terms of my inner self: that I try to see the good in everyone and give everyone a fair chance. Because we all deserve that!

I found the photo shoot a lot tougher than I expected. I felt insecure and very self-conscious. Won't I look weird or old in the photo? Only when I could let go of that, did I succeed. That was a nice moment."

"I started at Binnenste Buiten as a volunteer in group work and now work here permanently. I provide individual and group guidance.

This place means a lot to me. It's the job I love and continue to love the most." I have my customers and colleagues to thank for that. I even love the building! We want to create a warm, welcoming home here for people who are struggling. You also feel that involvement as an employee.

There are many customers who I will always remember. Sometimes because of their difficult story, often because of funny moments. The people who come here through work experience, each with their own background, have really enriched my life."
