Every first Sunday of the month, a lot of shops in the historic heart of the city are open. You can shop to your heart's content in any of the following streets and districts – De Keyserlei, the Meir, the Diamond district, the Wilde Zee, the fashion quarter, the Hoogstraat, Kloosterstraat, Steenhouwersvest, Kammenstraat, Groenplaats and Het Zuid. Opening hours may differ from the opening times that apply during the week. On Sundays, most shops don't open until the afternoon.
